How to port any number from another platform/provider to Mobiz

Any number type including Short Codes, 10DLC, and Toll-free Numbers can be ported from one provider to the next.

What types of numbers can be ported?

10DLC, Toll-free, and Short Codes can all be ported or in other terms transferred.

What is the typical timeframe involved with porting?

For 10DLC/Toll-free it typically takes anywhere from 7-14 days. Short Code can take 1-2 months.

How to port step by step:

In order to port your number, we'll need the following information of the authorized user or owner of the number.

  1. The authorized user's first and last name.

  2. A list of the number(s) you want to port.

  3. The corresponding service address. This must be an actual physical address and PO Boxes are not valid addresses.

  4. A Letter of Authorization (LOA) signed by the authorized user and/or owner of the number(s). Note that the information on your LOA must match the authorized user name and service address provided by your current carrier.

  5. A scanned (or electronic) copy of the most recent phone bill (within the last 30 days) that includes the account, owner/authorized user name, and address information for all the numbers you'd like to port.

Once you have the above LOA filled out and your copy of the most recent phone bill, please email help@mobiz.co your details or upload them on our live chat.
