Campaign terminology and features
-
Conditional (or ‘Hyper’) Personalization: Send different content to different segments of customers within a single campaign by showing or hiding elements based on customer criteria. Use this unique feature to increase your content relevancy by crafting unique experiences on an individual customer level.
-
Conditions: Conditions are criteria that are applied to your landing page elements when using conditional personalization. They are the “rules” that determine when or if certain content elements in campaigns are displayed.
Learn how to apply conditions and advanced personalization in our conditional personalization article.
-
Credits: Serve as ‘currency’ substitution and indicate how much it will cost to send your SMS. Generally, 1 credit = 1 SMS.
-
Default values: These are fallback values that will be displayed if your contact doesn’t have any information in your chosen personalization field(s).
-
Elements: All the individual images, text and buttons within your landing page are elements. Simply add, click or drag elements up or down on the design panel to customize your landing page.
-
Landing page: The webpage where your customers “land” after they click on a link in your Mobiz SMS.
-
Landing page campaign: An SMS campaign that includes a unique link to a personalized mobile landing page. Because of the visual nature and personalization capabilities of landing pages, these campaigns are well suited to product sales, new launches, special offers, and tailored discounts.
-
Templates: Pre-designed landing pages that are ready to be used and customized to your preference.
-
Renderer: The renderer is shown within the Design, SMS, and Review stages of campaign creation and displays either the landing page, SMS, or both depending on what kind of campaign you have selected, and where you are in the process.
-
Standard or text-only SMS: An SMS campaign that does not contain a link to a mobile landing page. These are useful when sending simple messages such as reminders, follow-up engagements or bulk discounts that don’t require visual elements or highly personalized content.
Contacts and permissions
-
Audience: The contacts or customer segment lists you select to send your SMS campaigns to.
-
Contact permission: The type of consent given by your customers that allows or disallows you to contact them compliantly. Mobiz uses two contact permission types: Subscribed and Unsubscribed.
-
Subscribed: These contacts have given explicit consent to be contacted by you by means of completing a form or expressing interest in receiving marketing communication material.
-
Unsubscribed: These contacts have not given explicit consent to be contacted by you or have opted out of communication. Learn more about consent in this article on Understanding permissions.
-
Opt-in requests: A method to confirm a person's intent to join a subscriber list where a confirmation communication is sent. This gives businesses complete confidence in a subscriber’s consent and helps protect against spam complaints.
-
List: An easy way to group or sort contacts so you can easily send campaigns to different segments of your audience.

Campaign analytics
-
Analytics: In-depth stats that allow you to easily determine how your campaigns performed and how best to optimize future ones. You’ll also find helpful graphs and information showing your campaign results with data such as SMS sent time, audience click though, and when (if) any of your audience may have unsubscribed.

-
Campaign cards: The dashboard houses your campaign cards – one for each campaign. Each campaign card highlights your high-level campaign analytics, and you can also click View analytics to see more in-depth reports.
-
Click-through rate: “Click-through rate” or “CTR” is the percentage of unique recipients who click on the hyperlink that directs to your landing page within the SMS message.
